Rush Limited Warranty Policy

1. Scope & Application

Rush warrants to the original direct retail purchaser and authorized OEM partners (e.g., complete bikes equipped with Rush components by authorized manufacturers) that each new Rush product—including hydraulic disc brake systems, mechanical brake calipers, levers, rotors, and pads—shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

2. Warranty Period

  • Major Components (Calipers, Levers, Hydraulic Lines, Master Cylinders): Two (2) Years from the original date of retail purchase or original bicycle delivery date.

  • Wearable Items & Consumables (Rotors, Brake Pads, Mounting Hardware, Seals/O-rings): Covered against manufacturing defects upon receipt or initial installation only. Normal wear and tear during use is strictly excluded.

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in material or manufacturing that lead to premature product failure during normal operation, including:

  • Structural cracking, casting porosity, or material deformation under normal operating conditions.

  • Internal hydraulic fluid leaks resulting from defective seals or factory manufacturing errors (excluding leaks caused by improper seating of olives, barbs, or compression nuts during routing).

  • Premature delamination or material separation (e.g., pad friction compound separating from backing plates under normal braking conditions).

4. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

This policy strictly excludes:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual depletion of brake pad friction material, rotor thickness depletion from standard use, finish discoloration, or cosmetic scratches.

  • Crash or Impact Damage: Structural or cosmetic damage resulting from crashes, trail strikes, transport accidents, bent rotors, or fall impacts.

  • Improper Installation or Maintenance: Damage caused by incorrect assembly, failure to follow official assembly guides, improper internal cable routing, over-torquing fittings, contamination of pads/rotors during bleeding, or use of incompatible hydraulic fluids.

  • Unauthorized Modification or Abuse: Alterations to factory specifications, commercial/rental fleet use, or operating beyond recommended usage limits.

  • Consequential Costs: Labor charges, shop service fees, shipping fees, or incidental/consequential losses associated with component replacement.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure
